I know the author is doing his/her best to be positive, but there are so many glaring statements - "schedule pushed back by hours due to lack of crowd", "people drinking an afternoon beer, unaware the festival was going on" - and so on.
I found about this festival two days before it began, much like last year, when I found their twitter feed after-the-fact. And oh look, I still follow it. IMHO, this festival is actually the worst thing about the Bay Area scene - it suffers from bad promotion, an overly ambitious number of stages (which had cool names, but I couldn't figure out where they were located on the poster), a homogeneic roster of bands (was there any rock bands?), and a clique-ish vibe that seems more exclusive than inclusive.
