Short post on Disordered Engines today about multiplicity. Full text below, but feel free to visit the Disordered site (http://disorderedengines.blogspot.co.uk/)
We are a multiplicity. A multiplicity as a universe, as a planet, as a species, as a culture, as an individual. There are as many variations of us as self, as there are stars in the universe. We rarely give ourselves credit for our multidimensionality, seeing it as counter to the old world idea of standardised humans, one size/flavour fits all. But we are changing our perspective, we are shifting gears towards an understanding of who we really are. Not who we are seen to be by advertisers, politicians, religions, units to influence and sell dreams to, but the complex multidimensional beings that we have always really known ourselves to be. We are not one sex, we are not one age, we are not one thought, we are multiple layers of all and more. We are a multiplicity.
