Day 66 / 366
I've earned this.
Three hours of driving to the desert yesterday, then traipsing around through the sand amid a spectacular wildflower bloom. Up every couple of hours through the night for my wife’s film project, which compensated me with a moonless night and a dazzling sky, including my first sighting of the entire Little Dipper.
Four hours driving home today through some bizarre conditions around the equally weird Salton Sea - a sandstorm, gusty wind and scores of trailers and fifth-wheels leaving a gigantic off-road-vehicle event that looked like something out of “Mad Max.”
So yeah, I'm exhausted. And I'd say I had it coming.
