I TOLD MY DAUGHTER: from me, you will always have the green light to love anyone of your choosing. However, only “one love” will be able to come to my home and have breakfast with me. There will be only one love that can have lunch with me. There will be only one love that can have dinner with me at home. And there will be only “one love” that will be able to sleep-over in my home.
AND THAT LOVE IS:
The “One” that she will come to me and say: “Dad, this is the one. This is the one that will always be there for me in the worse days of my life. This is the one that will take my worse days, and make them into worth living days with love. Dad, this is the one that makes me feel LOVED.”
p.s. my ending line was: ‘Kapisssh?’ (and her response was: “Ok.. I kapissh-ed it ... I got u”).
AND FOR THOSE: who don’t believe in love like this, I have this one for you:
There is this 80 plus year old lady that comes to my job all the time. I hadn’t seen her in a while. I saw one of her co-worker. Her co-worker said, she hasn’t show up for work for almost a whole week. Yes, that 80 plus successful lady has two jobs, always serves communities organizations around towns, and she also have a very ill husband.
So, when I heard that she wasn’t showing up for work, I knew something wasn’t right.
Finally, she showed up at my job yesterday. I was so happy to see her (but at the same time sad, because I knew I was not going to hear something good).
Yes, her husband was very ill in the hospital. She was taking care of him.
I walked her to her car (Yes! She drives!), we were talking, and at one point, she goes:
“You know Jovanny: I love life. I love living. And I just simply can’t imagine a moment in my life where my husband is going through the worst day of his life, and I am not there.”
FRIENDS: if you don’t know “Love” ... I’ll tell you, “that” is love!.
“That” is the only love that can walk through my home (for my Princess).
Enjoy your day!
