I paused outside of a Walmart McDonalds to re-tie my shoelace and sat next to a lounging Ronald McDonald statue. As I set my bag down beside me, I glanced into the clown's lap to find what appeared to be a tiny hole.
It appears to be part of the manufacture, so presumably it's for drainage? So as to render the statue indoor/outdoor use, or in case of spilling? In any event, I share this finding as a cautionary tale - don't make eye contact with the abyss here should you find a Ronald statue your benchmate. I fear it stared back.
