I really loved smoking. Since taking up e-cigarettes last year I've had a few bouts back at the tobacco, most recently a carton of Dunhill (International) that a friend brought from overseas. This coincided with a shortage of VG heavy e-juice from Jughead's.
So in going smoke-free again, here's a look at an old package that I customised. It housed king sized cigarettes, and was dressed primarily with the envelopes that include the essentials of Sea Monkeys. The reference to instant life on a container for cancerous leisure seemed like some sort of ward.
The skulls were harvested from a number of Spawn figures, and the top tilted open to the back. Often stocked with Dunhill Special Reserve, though I think the pack was Benson & Hedges branded to start off. I initially taped the packaging on with glossy scotch tape and then added a layer of glue to cement the bony parts into place.
At the time this photograph was taken I was stocked with Trad-A, a brand available locally. These arms were taken from a corpse figure that was part of an X-files line, and added to grant the pack greater functionality overall. The dual spine/guts in the center was taken from a Frankenstein figure set. This is the sort of work that makes me want to keep smoking, though I've since dismantled the pack to graft the mixed media elsewhere.
