J. Silverhoof’s art can be best described as a combination of various cultural, spiritual and life reflections that she converges into diverse patterns and vibrant colors. She is known for visualizing in her works the unity of everything. Earth is part of space, and space is part of Earth. Separation is an illusion. Wholeness is the reality.
In her art J. Silverhoof uses Acrylic paint and Japanese ink, and a variety of media which generate complexity of forms, textures and colors and create almost an optical illusion for the observer.
The artist encourages the viewer to take a journey into the unlimited depths of self-perception and awareness of the world’s micro- and macrocosm. If you direct your attention to small details and patterns zooming in, you will discover new stories that subsequently unravel you back to the painting as a whole. It’s a personal infinite adventure.
