How to talk about diversity without pointing or forgetting anyone?
I'm using donated clothes, folding them on my installations to talk about people without showing any gender, color, origin, identity, age, size, or any other label. I want to talk about diversity in a proactive approach: I believe to be equal in the difference.
Everytime the artworks are exhibited I encourage the visitors to interact with them, not only with the eyes, also touching the clothes, because this way they can feel the different materials: wool, cotton, leather, silk, polyester, plastic...
All the clothes are collected by the collaborative project "Donate your clothes to Art". Those garments you no longer need can help the research of an artist, related with "donate your body to Science".
