I am a berlin based illustrator, multidisciplinary designer and artist from Germany, mostly inspired by art, science and film. I am working independently for cultural institutions, magazines and doing artworks for musicians since 2012.
I studied graphic design at the Folkwang University of the Arts and at the University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf and graduated in 2015 with a master’s degree in visual communication.
I work in a straight textual and visual conceptual way with conscious space for contingencies. I play with digital and analog textures to get content-related and visual exciting contrasts. I have a moved idea of narration and like to play with the perspective. I combine strong grid-based spaces with accidental acting, nature apperaring forms and structures. My illustrations explore different themes like perceptual phenomena, the new media and introspection, particularly looking at the formability of our idea of time and space.
