I don't feel real enough unless people are watching.
A flaw that has embedded within me since I was young enough to develop a personality. Grown into a society where everyone wants to belong, where people feel everyone should be awarded for something, to be recognized, to feel "special". Is it wrong of me to feel that way?
yes and no.
Humans are social species, we rely on communication and constant back and fourth validation.
I don't feel real enough unless people give me validation.
-Now that is wrong of me..
I don't feel real unless people are watching.
Its a habit. Everyone feels this way at some point, If you believe it's not true then go fuck yourself and keep on re-sharing those Facebook rants as you publicize your personal achievements on social media waiting for likes.
Why do people all take shots together but never on their own at parties.
Why is it that whatever we create, we feel the need to share with the world, an idea, an answer, a theory. Art.
Humans don't feel genuine unless they have an audience.
After all.. we are humans.
