In my artistic practice I address themes that, to one extent or another, engage with the representation of the female gender role. Usually I begin with my personal experience, observing people, hanging out with them, and encountering various manifestations of opinions and behaviors concerning women, as well as various opinions of women themselves on their position and social construction. I find different ways to reflect those sensations through various media. I also single out another vector in my artistic practice – the search for ideal spaces which I construct within the field of the picture or screen, or separate premises. In this way, I address the beauty of the surrounding world, reconstructed by man, which endlessly inspires me. My education and work as a designer has had a strong influence on me as an artist. In my work, the world of things for man, created by man, has a direct link with the internal world and social life of people. In this way, I find the necessary contrast between the beauty of the world and nervous issues which disturb society, give rise to disputes and are, it seems to me, pressing in modern society.
