Bio / Keya Tama is a 20 year old South African street artist based in Los Angeles. He has been painting and participation in street art festivals around the world since the age of Thirteen. His inspiration comes from Patterns stories and archetypes from around the world. His artistic style reflects the fluid spontaneity of children's stories. He uses sayings and myths from ancient societies around the world and mixes this with modern symbols to create a new world that allows the viewer to re imagine context. his work pays with the way we see ourselves and others by creating a symbolic world that shows the value and meaning in history architypes and the role we play in each others lives.

artists statement / These works explore the role between vulnerability and projection in men and women. I tried to depict the roles we play in a that show the child like nature of this dynamic. the aim is to promote empathy and to allow the viewer to re imagine their relationships with the imagination vulnerability and empathy of children.
