Saw Lemony Snicket today, as in, Daniel Handler, and asked him the same question I ask all authors, and he responded with pretty much the same answers that I get from everyone, and so it seems the routine of most writers is the same (including mine) and looks like this:
1. Write every day.
2. Get up and write before doing anything else.
3. Around 2 or 3 p.m. stop.
4. Read a lot and every day.
5. Do about 3-4 drafts, then move on.
SO I'M DOING ALL THE RIGHT THINGS.
I will be rich and famous soon.
