Ha! Hallelujah! All this poring over etymology of words is paying off! Just came across the word "interminable" and figured out its meaning based on its structure! "In-" means "non-" or "into-" and "-terminable" made me think of "terminate," so sure enough when I looked it up in Russian it meant бесконечный! Never-ending, in other words. Guys, I'm so happy it's working. Learning English vocabulary is my biggest trouble at the moment. Etymology is awesome.
