To all you graphics snobs out there, and indie writers, I have figured out the IRKADURA cover issue. So. According to a graphics pro, when you create a cover in Illustrator and make a PDF out of it (because CreateSpace accepts only PDFs), you have to re-open it in Photoshop, flatten it, and then save it as a PDF again. That way CreateSpace doesn't yell at you for having transparency issues. After all said and done, the final IRKADURA book cover in print should look like this. Online it will always look a bit blurry — I have heard from multiple people that red doesn't compresses very well — this is to all of you who are thinking about making red book covers.
