We forget that we’re still children inside. And those children are quite often hurt and unheard. We don’t want to listen to them. We don’t want to see them. We don’t want to relive the traumas they’ve been through, so we lock them up and ignore them. That eats away at us, through. And eventually, our bodies force us to go back there and to speak to our inner children. Ask them what happened. Listen to them. Hold them. Cry with them. And than ask them what would make them happy and do it for them. With them. Do it for us. So please take 20 minutes today and speak to your inner child. Ask them what makes them happy, then do it with them. There is no better joy than reuniting with yourself after years of neglect.
