Just reread one of my favorite books of all time, The Diary of Mikki the Fox Terrier by Sasha Chorny, and now I want to go back and read more of him. He was a poet and a satirist regarded by Nabokov as one of the best: ""He left only a few books and a quiet, beauteous shadow." His humor will make you roll on the floor from laughing. Wish it was translated in English, this particular book, (but you can get others in English), it's a gem. "A new thought. Our cow is an idiot. Why does she make so much milk?" And every sentence is like this. Love it.
