Little did I think that by deciding to self-publish I would have to become (among other things) a graphic designer of sorts. Not that I'm any good. I only know how to clean up things to make them look nice.
So today is devoted to cropping, resizing, and editing out any artifacts from the illustration scans for Blue Sparrow 2, the second book of my tweets on writing and other creative nonsense.
Here is what the illustrations look like. After a long deliberation I have decided to keep them unframed, cut off like sketches. What do you think? Also, center- or left-justify the text? And does it look too big?
