Got chills. Listened to Viktor Tsoi, the Soviet rock legend who died at 28 in the car crash (fell asleep at the wheel from exhaustion) and who barely made money from his albums but was widely listened to and is claimed to have opened the road to Russian rock. He was called the last hero of rock, giving his music away for free through samizdat (like self-publishing, basically) and supporting himself and his band by working in a boiler room.
I listened to his songs when I was a teenager, and this is the perfect soundtrack for TUBE. The mood. The cadence. Everything. Ah, nostalgia. You hurt, how you hurt.
