Last year I decided to quit my job and go see the world ( I know, how cliche). I wanted to illusrate my travels and show the worlds diversity. My work is mainly based off my own photographs of my travels ( An indian Sikh sitting on a stool in Mumbai, or a little Nepalese woman serving me some tea) and is a sort of personal visual diary. I have a degree in Metal Design, and a Masters in Shoe and Accessories, which is where my love for geometry comes from. After 4 years of making metal crafts you start to elaborate a geometric, structural mindset and style. I love working monochrome, it allows me to play with textures , mediums and styles without it becoming too overwhelming.
