The dream of silence
I dreamed of it, the city veiled of morning mist and fallen silent in the sunset, and I saw two women observing the world, no mouths but big eyes, like silent sentries in defense of silence. I heard the leaves of those fragile plants vibrating, stuck in concrete like steel poles, and the soft whispering of a man and a woman saying words love. The gloomy air, in front of a sea that may no longer exist, blurs boundaries and time. I saw the spaceship, disguised as an ancient church, gliding to the ground and the lovers will fly away.
