I'm a middle aged guy with a camera. How's that for a cliché? I love the hobby though, I'm always out and about with my Olympus, photographing mostly in Idaho and the PNW.

Skrew Studio (@skrewstudio)
Skrew Studio is the alter ego of belgian visual artist Maarten De Naeyer. With a graphic background he is intrigued by the tension between shapes and textures. Rarely using color in his work - only when needed - he defines a raw and intense visual style by creating interesting compositions.

I am a New York artist originally from Los Angeles. Collaging, to me, is the ultimate democratic and political art practice. It’s source material can be anything and everything available to the artist. Every choice the artist makes gives new meaning and context to the images being collaged. By exercising appropriation, an act usually limited to those with absolute power, I give meaning to the images around me instead of it being imposed on me, through the media and advertisement.

I'm a visual artist and photographer living in Anchorage, Alaska.
My medium is collage on paper but I do some digital work as well. I have a collection of vintage film cameras and I self published a book on blurb with analog photography of cars in Alaska titled: Blue Tarps and Broken Windshields.
I've been featured by my local indie paper the Anchorage Press and provided several commissioned cover pieces.

My art is traditional cut and paste collages. All images used are found in magazines, books, newspapers and other printed media. I do not print images from the internet or from my personal digital collection. Each piece is a unique work.
My collages are very busy, intricate, detailed and full of action. Multiple stories can be found within one piece. Morality, religion, politics, sexuality, and human nature are my inspirations and I always strive for humor and obscurity. There's always something new to discover.
Thank you for stopping to take a look at my work. I hope that you leave with a smile.
