Strange, awesome meta life moment yesterday: I gave a talk to a design class at CU in the same Hellems classroom where I studied philosophy 20+ years ago. There was so much I wanted to share with them, but 50 minutes just isn't enough time. The talk was mostly about the diverse, technical nature of my work, and how I got here. But after the talk, I couldn't help feeling like I missed a chance to break through and connect meaningfully. I imagined speaking to my 20 year old self, and what I would say. Probably something like: Keep Moving. Be Nice. Try New Stuff. Solve Problems. Work To Create Unique Experiences. and Everything is going to be OK.
