Leo Baker is a Seattle based artist working primarily in charcoal and oil paint. Derived from the artists own photographs, drawings and paintings depict life in the city from rebels to police, first responders alike, homeless, and themes of friendship and surveillance. Starting with a natural way to draw, lines search for other lines in the process of observing and recording from life onto the media. Pushing and pulling of mediums collect and form the artists’ desired image from its chaos.
