Heard someone called a "choob" (or "tube", if you will) there, and briefly wondered, "is this insult used anywhere else in the world?" A cursory googling suggests not. Now, I'd always assumed that the name of "YouTube" was intentional double entendre, a slightly risqué choice, but nothing too egregious given the normally jovial nature of the insult. For some reason, I never thought about it too much. And it never occurred to be that this second interpretation of their branding was only apparent to people familiar with Scots vernacular.
