The first two pictures are from the project titled 'DREEM ROOM'. This project brings together the work of outsider artist Jungle Phillips and 3D animator Liam Bosecke. Jungle's evolving masterpiece that is his home, Hartland, on Marion road in Adelaide, is translated in to digital space by Liam. Encapsulating Philips' ideologies in his own artistic vision. Allowing people to see into Jungles and my world through a variety of mediums, including VR, animation work and hand painted textures.

The second picture is an exploration of human form and texture. Embodied by a viking warrior, ‘FLOATING’ is an organic portrait of bodily fireworks, celebrating the diversity in our creativity. The liberating and carefree painting style on the armour was inspired by local legend Jungle Philips whilst working on artworks in conjunction with him for an exhibition; interpreting his philosophy of artwork being about ‘bringing joy to the world’. I wanted to evoke a pure feeling of wonder from the visual aesthetic whilst retaining a glitchy and rough visual style, creating a piece that will make the viewer double take and assess what it is they are looking at exactly. The unpredictable nature of ‘FLOATING’ invites the viewer to free themselves of their future expectations and enjoy the motions as they come: Embracing and celebrating our communal diversity. You’re invited to come float with me and share in this perspective.
Investigating the extent of our emotional capacity by manipulating physical form and creating distortions is what gives me purpose. Allowing others to share in these creative experiences with me and creating community activity and conversations with groups that may not traditionally converse is what excites me.
