Sooo... now is the time when the new social media sites try to elbow each other to the curb in a fight for dominance of the fringe of social media. Let's face it - the masses are not going to migrate away from FB. I'm fine with that, and you probably are too.
Ello is a nice place to hang around, and for the most part of been posting one post a day. It's been a long week, so some of my posts have been lacking when it comes to content. I WAS TIRED. Still am, but I get to sleep in tomorrow so that should help.
Where was I... oh yes. Ello is all fine and good, but most people don't seem terribly inclined to post here. Fair enough.
Today I learned about a new site, called tsū.
Here's my profile: http://tsu.co/Librarianguish
Check it out!
(oh sorry, having a John Brannon moment there)
Anyhow, in the name of keeping up with trends in computing, I created an account there.
It feels much more like FB. Simple posting (only one photo per post), liking, and no editing - like the olden days of FB. There's some weird money-making scheme attached to it, which I am very skeptical about but whatever. I like the green theme of the page, very soothing. Supposedly you can customize your page, but I don't seem to have access to that yet.
The best thing so far? There's a built in photo editor and I was able to give Syd a fez.
