Pretty darn tired today. Up very early (for me) for a day of work off-island. Our group visited five libraries, two of which I had never been to before. The first stop was the Darrington Library, which meant driving through the recently reopened stretch of highway through the area where the massive Oso landslide was. Pretty sobering, to see the scale of it. The weather was dark and gloomy, so I was unable to get a decent picture as we drove by.
The rest of the day was excellent, spent in the company of three other librarians, including @jacparker. Lots of fun discussion, sometimes about work and sometimes about other things!
It was nice not to be the person driving, but I didn't manage to get very many photos out the window. It was kind of dark and gloomy early in the day. I did see this nice business pairing in Marysville. Looks like a busy place!
