Hello everyone! I thought I'd formally introduce myself here, since I haven't yet on ello!
My name is Raquel, the owner, herbalist, and maker of Libra's Garden. I'm a former nutrition and dietetics student, herbalist, mother, Catholic, rosary maker, and entrepreneur. Some of my interests outside of my shop are reading, traveling, yoga, and cooking.
I'm passionate about natural living, holistic health and wellness, and plants. I love to study them through literature, herbal talks and workshops, and my own studies through observation and interaction. I love spending time in the field and forest, soaking up the sunshine and fresh air, working with plants or simply enjoying my time near them. Herbalism is a lifelong journey, there is always so much to learn.
I'm fascinated by the healing abilities of plants and the way they interact with us on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels. Herbs have much to teach us. Herbal medicine is a lifelong pursuit, and a path I'm very passionate about. I believe in nurturing the body in a natural, holistic manner, and that the earth provides the medicine we need - if only we know how to use it. I love to create these apothecary and skincare items, and offer them in my shop in the hopes that you may benefit from them.
My #apothecary and #skincare are made using natural, nourishing ingredients. I strive to use organic, non-GMO, ethically wildcrafted, locally produced, and homegrown ingredients wherever possible, and carefully source my ingredients to ensure they meet my standards of high quality, and environmental and social responsibility.
My #Catholic faith is of great importance to me, and I take pride in crafting natural gemstone #rosaries for use in prayer. I offer these beautiful prayer tools as listed, and welcome custom orders for special occasions and personal requests.
Every item in my shop is made with the utmost care and positive intentions, designed to assist you in your daily rituals of holistic self-care and prayer while being mindful of the environmental impact of these goods. Thank you for stopping by! #librasgarden
