You need to hear this - it’s not your fault.
Does having someone to blame ever change things?
Does it ever make the burden easier to bare?
Maybe that’s the point of suffering.
To expose you. To strip you naked and show you who you are.
Don’t you ever wonder what’s inside?
Doesn’t the universe give you every opportunity to explore it?
You can only count on one thing - everything beautiful is made of bone, one day it will become all dust and settle.
That’s what makes it bliss.
The slow, intricate decomposition of atoms.
Savory like marrow.
Matter dissolving itself deeper.
Maybe I sound like a masochist.
Maybe that’s the secret.
Lean into the brand, breathe deep and let it smolder.
Look at the colors bleeding together as the skin peels back.
Doesn’t it feel good to shed it?
