concrete, pigments and adhesive
60 x 70 x 80 cm
I made this sculpture for the art-in-public-space-project SQUARE DANCE in Tuttlingen, Germany, last Summer.
The selfmade shingles, in red and dark brown concrete, are stacked in two diffrent manners to create little spaces between the 35 layers.
The massive but airy composition of the sculpture deals with the topic of time and the history of the city of Tuttlinge, whose city center burned down in the beginnig of the 19th century.
