This is Keith, and although I only shared about 45 minutes with him I found him to be a kind soul. During this time I will also point out that there were a couple of others who stopped and gave him various drinks and goodies to eat, each time gratefully acknowledging with a "God Bless You."
"I've made a lot of new friends. Whatever I can't use, I donate to the church so another person will be able to use it."
At 50 years old, he told me a couple different times that he was from Singapore China and that he was fortunate to be in the military who had flown him to the states. While here, he was living in Kansas where he bacame a victiom of identity fraud. With his birth certificate and social security card stolen he told me that "they wanted it all, they wanted to take everything away from me but I wouldn't let them. I told them there was no way that I would let that happen." He packed up his personals and walked out, he's been on the streets ever since. He coudn't tell me how long he's been traveling now, but he did know that he has been in Nodak for about a month and will continue on to where ever Jesus leads him. He's not afraid of the cold and the harsh weather that will evenutally show up in these parts. When I asked if he was worried he replied no, "Jesus will show me the way. I can always count on him and he only has three answers for me: yes, no and wait!"
He made sure to tell me that he wanted all of his friends to know that he is doing ok and will continue on. He gave me an email address that he wanted on fb: email@example.com
