I’ve created a series of fifteen works on wood that explore my experience marching last year’s historical Women’s March in DC, generational experiences with sexism, and my ideas of ‘girl’ growing up in the 80s. The feeling of community I felt during this peaceful demonstration was both palpable and powerful.
These are toner transfer of my photographs, house paint, nail polish, and puffy glitter stickers on wooden panels.
I’m an artist and teacher with a lust for life and drive to get out there. Thank you for checking this out.
