I caught the end of an interview with Frederick Wiseman about his latest documentary, National Gallery, on NPR tonight. The piece ended with a quote that really struck a chord with me and relates rather perfectly to the vision, design and development of Ello.
“The only safe assumption I make about an audience is that the people who are going to see the film are as smart or as dumb as I am, I think anything else is condescending.”
You can listen to the whole interview here.
