Today we’re happy to announce the second issue of @notforprint, this week’s giveaways, @raretempodenver’s exhibition dates, and of course some bug fixes.
Not For Print Issue 02 — Resist
Art is not a mirror held up to reality but a hammer with which to shape it.
We have a bunch of exciting news for Issue 02.
First off, we have partnered with WeTransfer to support this issue. Through this collaboration we plan to bring more visibility to the magazine and more importantly, the featured creators.
We have 4 community curators; @joanneleah, @jordan-alan-brown, @eboy and @wetransfer’s Deputy Editor Suzanne Tromp.
Text-based submissions are welcome for Issue 02.
And finally, we are producing multiple covers. The first cover is by @thomcat23. The additional covers will be revealed later
Submission are open now and will close April 21, 2017 at 11:59pm MT
How to Submit:
- Share 3 pieces of art or writing that speak to the theme “Resist” in a single post. Videos and GIFs will not be featured in the print magazine, but may be included in a special digital version of Not For Print.
- Include your name, a link to your portfolio, your location, and 2-5 sentences about the art you’ve submitted.
