Arkitip x Ello

Ello and iconic art publisher, Arkitip (@arkitip), produced a special print edition based on an online juried Ello exhibition including 100s of artist — showcasing 40. The special edition issue of Arkitip - “Here is what you have; This is what you hold” - is can be purchased here (link).

We also co-produced Tommy Guerrero Live at Alife in NYC. A 10” album of the show is coming this year. And we are currently co-producing Ello Documents, a series of photo essays and stories about art masters doing special work.

Hi-Fructose x Ello

Hi-Fructose x Ello (@hifructosexello) - Hi-Fructose New Contemporary Art Magazine (@hifructose) is always looking to discover emerging artists, and Ello - the Creators Network - endeavors to provide visibility and opportunity for the abundance of talented creators on its platform. Together we selected 16 artists as part of our Emerging Artist Showcase currently available in the January issue Hi-Fructose. 8 artists were also awarded grants.

Issue 01 — Censorship of Not For Print (@notforprint) drops this month. NFP will be published quarterly and aims to bring heightened visibility and new opportunity to Ello’s community members. It’s all about taking Ello’s internet culture to the printed page and giving credit where credit is due.

Each edition will address a unique theme evocative of Ello’s current state of mind. We want to see who’s pushing the limits, challenging the mainstream and making work that says something special.

Openness is one of our guiding principles. We strive to maintain a spirit of transparency in everything we do. A year ago we began sharing more and more of what we do both on Ello and via Github. Learn more about our Open Source by Default approach here.
