30 Second Book Review —
... cooking itself down under the pressure of time, silent invisible flakes settling to form a mulch, a crystalline essence of discarded technology, flowering secretly in the Sprawl's waste places.
I just finished up this classic cyberpunk novel a few nights ago. It was interesting reading this and Snow Crash back to back. For me personally, I preferred Snow Crash. Really just because the cyberspace bits were described in a way that I could better visualize (which I do heavily when I read). The alternate reality in Neuromancer was a bit more abstract (most of the time). But other than that, it was a fantastic book and some people may even prefer the abstractness.
Next up: The Magus by John Fowles
PS. I get all of my book recommendations from @jasperl and I read them without reading the summary or knowing anything about the book at all. Makes it more interesting I think.
