So I'm doing something new. In between painting canvases to put in my store and hopefully squeak out a living with I'm also painting on random scraps of wood or whatever else might be available and then leaving them in random places around San Diego(or maybe other places if I do any traveling soon) for the first person that finds them. I'll post a photo on instagram that will usually include some sort of clue as to where it is.
The painting in the top photo is long gone but I just placed the bottom one this afternoon. It's high enough no one would notice it walking by
so there's a good chance it might still be there. So if you're in San Diego...
If you're in SD and want to keep track of these follow me on Instagram. I'm planning on doing at least a couple a week if all goes well. Very soon I plan to have a website up to keep track of them. Tell anyone you know in SD that might be interested.
BTW... I'm totally ripping this idea off from an old friend of mine who goes by Panhandle Slim. He does it way better of course:) You should check him out if you haven't heard of him. Just Google "Panhandle Slim Folk Art"
