It wasn't so long ago, when the four fathers of one of the strongest cultural movements of the region, emigrated to unknown lands to pursue their idealistic dream. They wanted to start their settlement and start from scratch, but months prior to that, they spent three dark phases defining the rules of Pikintos before they put up a single pillar. Everything would have to be proportional according to these principles but most importantly it needed to be functional.
The Bauh was a rectangular old piece of metal that helped the fathers to established the first rules of measurement. All this added a degree of complexity, but once the master plan was defined the execution was easy and scalable.
Bauh became the unit and the core of every element that was built by the Bauhlanders. (For example, the structure of normal family house of four will consist in 4600 bauhs.)
Until these days Bauhland is still true to its rules and their habitants make sure they follow the manifesto that was left by the founders.
