Martha E. Maya
Born in Tijuana, Mexico, Martha has built her artistic career as a postproducer and visual artist. For the last few years she has worked with diverse edition techniques and visual deconstruction known as Glitch-Art. She focuses in constructing visual discourses through image destruction, she began working with glitch in 2014 and her work has been in several exhibitions such as “Glitch Art is Dead” in Krakow, Poland; "Error! Ǝ/RR.O/R_GLitch” in Sao Paulo; “ID1-0T” for the University of Regina, Canadá. In 2017 she was part of the Exhibition "My Wall Is Your Filter Bubble" an augmented reality project for the Festival "Abandon Normal Devices” in London commissioned by the British Council in México.
