These were all projects I completed in 2017 while collaborating with other organizations or clients.
-"Rotations" artwork was made for a CD album layout that opened as a 3-paneled case. The subject aimed to combine elements of western and eastern influences but also communicate the music group's practice of Taiko (Japanese drums) as symbolized by the Enso.
-"Pulp Fiction" was an editorial illustration for an article in B*tch Magazine about inequality in the justice system which tends to gloss over gender and racial violence and favors heterosexual white men.
-Digital artwork for a poster made for Full Spectrum Features screening event of Chicagoland Shorts - a series that highlights films created by the local Chicago indie film community.
I'm a freelance artist doing illustration, animation and painting. Right now a lot of my practice focuses on identity-I'm particularly interested in how I can intersect different facets of culture, gender, sexuality, and relationships into the subject and content of my work.
