When did the new century actually begin? I think it is when we started to value the space around the object, more than the object. Minimalism became mainstream. Everything changed. We no longer look to the outside world in search for meaning. Everything we need is inside of us. Our minds are free. What once was a cold and empty sheet to us, is now teaming with life, flourishing in an ever-changing kaleidoscope of colors. Where once we longed for the warm hand of a creator, now we see our own hand. Now we are the creators.

I was given my first camera somewhere around age eleven. Several years and many, many rolls of film later it became clear that photography had taken a firm foothold in my life. Since those days I have travelled both locally and globally for different photographic projects.
