I recently got back from a two week trip to Japan. I spent a few days in Osaka (it was awesome!), and had the opportunity to people-watch from a window facing the Glico man.
I was actually pretty bored by then of taking the typical tourist pictures of this display, and then became fixated on this guy who was standing below. He was just standing there, watching the boats go by every couple minutes, and taking the occasional picture of the same thing from the same angle. He was there for a good 20 minutes repeating this process.
So I started photographing him photographing this tourist attraction.
He was still there when I left.
