#Music play ~ Of the day ~ Well I missed #ThrowBackThursday so we'll do a #MystiqueUnPlugged and call this one for #FlashBackFriday and owe you one I'll post later. The wall, the wall, the wall. The government is shut down over some silly wall. I've tried to stay neutral. I've listened to both sides. Here's where I'm at. Read, digest & comment. Years ago, when I first used social media, the politics were … appalling and boring. I so wanted to see non-politicians elected. I felt then, and still do to this day, it was the best way to have a government of, for & by "The People." Now, we have one. A few years ago a successful businessman / reality TV star stepped off of an escalator declaring he would build a "Big beautiful wall" and announcing he would run for president, We had an election, he won, unleashing jealous rage of "That should of been me." The electoral college exists so that you don't get elected for being popular, you have to reach out to Americans everywhere. I say the people have spoken, let them have their wall. And let us take to the streets and march in protest. Let the artists on both sides come and decorate it with expression and graffiti. And years from now let a leader stand before it and declare "Mister (President), tear down this wall!"
