"why is it so hard to say I love you?"
Marco Gallotta is an Italian-born, New York City-based artist. He received his associate's degree in fashion illustration and a bachelor’s degree in general illustration from the Fashion Institute of Technology. He grew up in Italy, before moving to New York City in 1998. His artistic craft consists mostly of paper-cutting techniques, drawing, painting, and printmaking.
His clients include Chanel, Nike, Vogue, the United Nations, Radio City Music Hall, Academy Award winner Ennio Morricone, actor Will Smith, former NBA player Gigi Datome, and fashion entrepreneur Renzo Rosso.
My artistic craft consists mostly of photographic images that I manipulate through cutting, overlapping, drawing, and painting. Through this process, images are transformed into new organic forms that find an existential dimension through a powerful osmosis with nature and its elements.
