Marinaldo Santos (Belém, PA, 1961)
A self-taught artist, he lives and works in Belém since 1980. Studying at a SESI school, at the age of 12, she worked in a nut factory, and then, in difficult times, at a sawmill collecting wood dust. At age 15, he left home living on his own, in a certain period distributing "Folha do Norte", until he began exhibiting in collectives in Pará from 1983. He has works in public collections such as the Mebel State Museum, Rômulo Foundation The University of Belém and the 11 Jan. House, all in Belém, Rio de Janeiro Museum of Modern Art (Gilberto Chateubriand Collection), Bahia Modern Art Museum and Pace University in New York.
