Maryam Gohar (@maryamgohar)
I am Maryam Gohar (a pseudo name I have made up of my real name “Maryam” and my Grandma’s “Gohar” (means gem) who was the very first unorthodox feminist I knew). I am a female artist currently residing in Iran. For many years I have been working as a children's book illustrator while having this more feminine and sensual part of my artistic-self hidden from the world. Being a woman artist in Iran and the nature of my works combined, made it harder to work in larger scales and I started with sketchbook pieces first. This enabled me to work on subjects near to my heart with less fear of exposure.
Location: Tehran Province, Iran

Fine artist, teacher.
Painter based in Detroit, Michigan.
My body of work is a visual journal, some accounts are pivotal others are simple. I work to present this personal subject matter with economy of action and integrity of personal expression. I enjoy searching for the moment in a painting when the least amount of detail meets the truth of my subject. It’s this truth and simplicity that allow the viewer to connect, ultimately relating my work with their own experiences.

Lauren Bergman (@lauren_bergman)
Lauren Bergman grew up in Washington, D.C., before relocating to Manhattan to study painting and design at Parson’s School of Design and The Art Students League in New York. Bergman's work probes a loss of cultural optimism and the ongoing irresolution of such post-feminist issues as sexuality versus intellectualism, passivity and acquiescence versus ambition. The work courts irony and the inner narratives are playful, yet confront the conflicting expectations of contemporary culture and the intricately complex ways in which we form our identities.
Bergman currently lives in Manhattan and her studio is at MANA Contemporary in Jersey City, NJ.

Alexander Hayden (@alexanderhayden)
Alexander Hayden's work grows from a fascination with questioning human perception and how emotion can influence experience and behavior. Born in Texas in 1993, Hayden moved to New York City (where he now resides) in 2017 to pursue involvement in the thriving environment of figurative art. Hayden is self taught, preferring to approach education independently through books & the internet. His works in charcoal and oil use the figure to analyze the difficulties of managing human experience and the ambiguous and often contradictory thoughts & emotions that come with it. Alexander draws deeply on and directly from the events of his personal life as inspiration f

Annabelle Headlam (@annabelleheadlam)
Annabelle Headlam is a realist painter who strives to combine a classical approach with a strong sense of design developed during her years as a sought-after tattoo artist.
Often inspired by photography found on the internet, she strikes a cord with the strangers she depicts; her figures connecting with the viewer through a combination of confidence and vulnerability.
Headlam’s work makes her viewer aware of an all encompassing inter-connectedness of a shared human experience.
Originally from Sydney, Australia, Annabelle Headlam currently resides in Salzburg, Austria.
Jennifer, a native of Central Pennsylvania, is classically trained in representational art with a BFA in Fine Art Painting from Rochester Institute of Technology. Her paintings often display a strong sense of humor as she carefully crafts her composition, employing both the figure and light as her muse. While painting the figure with a sense of realism, Jennifer also tries to tie in an element of unexpectedness—just like life itself.
