ZOMIA COMMUNIQUE #1 (now available in technicolour!!!)
this is the online version of the zomia collective's first communique (of many). why on ello you ask? because fuck facebook, get ello (ask for an invite if you need one, we have you covered). the response to the print version has been pretty overwhelming so far. thanks to everyone for the kind words; and thanks to all of our comrades for your: layout advice, ideas, critiques, praises for misusing semicolons, and more. we love you all. (also, thanks to anyone we accidentally, but unapologetically, borrowed lines from)

we're aiming to release the second communique for july 1st to coincide with the birth of the 'true north strong and free,' canada. as such the theme will likely be patriotism, nationalism, why you should probably hate your country, etc etc etc. so look out for that.
