I'm a 27-year-old queer man who was raised by mother and sister. I've always been surrounded by lgbtq+ and straight women. I've been part of this underground society (living among these people who used to be, and are until nowadays, marginalized) and I've also lived among patriarchy for it is impossible not to. Considering these facts, I've had problems for exploring and expressing myself until I felt safe enough to deal with the consequences of not being what this patriarchal society wants for all of the people. Since then, I've dedicated my audiovisual artworks to open space for people who once felt like I did, so they can feel represented ans stronger to be whatever they want to disregarding any rule created to raise patriarchy
ABOUT THE PROJECT:
It is a movement that aims at putting women(all inclusive meaning) and "non-patriarchal" people in a position of empowerment and freedon by questioning behaviors and proposing self love through ignoring beauty and behavior standards. In pictures and movies, I propose a reality in which anyone can be as they want, not following patriarchal rules. It has become a movement due to independent parties that happen every once in while in order to shake patriarchal structures in urban spaces.
