I like to openly express my long-lived love for analogue imag[in]ing. In shooting film I see an intimate way to escape the web-designer's digital overload of highly artificial stock-photography and [re]connect with life on the streets - fingers on film. Fascinated by the many manual techniques the analogue art offers, and explore their possibilities: from twice shot film double-exposures, to pinhole-tape filters, solarization-self-development and darkroom-light experiments, for me it is the process of making, that turns the object of the photograph into an object of art. To slow down in our hectic times, where a lot can be achieved by means of pushing a button, is seen as a craft in itself.
